THE # ON THE HEADS IS 462624 USED ON 350 FROM 1975-1986 FROM SAME BOOKS. The 010 block casting was a VERY common 4in bore block. It was MACHINED in both 2 and 4bolt configurations. I have a bare block that has casting number 3970010, it is a 4 bolt main block with the main caps stamped 2842, it also has 010 buy the oil filter housing which means 10 percent more iron or nickel which should mean a better block.
