Browning a5 problems.
When looking at the mag tube, it appears that the mag cap pushes down on the end spacer (movable end cap that the spring fits into) and this then blocks the last shell. Is there some way to fix this on my own. Install a shorter spacer, or follower,etc. Three of the 3" shells work fine as the over all length is shorter than 4 of the 2 3/4" shell.In 2012, Browning brought the gun back. Though Browning hasn't done much with their A5 “Sweet Sixteen” beyond the one initial model, I do like it more than the 12s. Browning has ignored the 20 gauge with the A5 thus far. BANG FOR THE BUCK. My buddies had a problem cycling at first but he just left the grease from the factory in it and started shooting it.I bought a A5 in 2013. You’re saying Trigger when you mean Trigger Plate, though in your case you replaced both. In the OP’s case, he’s got the new Trigger and Safety. His gun is sort of unique in that it’s got Speed Load but uses the old Carrier Spring. That only occurred 1953-57.
