Okay so I've been using the intelliscope digital setting circles for about a year now. Installation is easy and straight forward, but I don't like that you can't use a polar alignment scope with this setup. A set of digital setting circles is very nice to add to a scope. Making it a push-to finder. Just align on 2 or 3 stars and then the computer unit can tell you how far to push the scope in what direction to find what object you want to see next. A couple of thoughts on digital setting circles system since I have built two from scratch. One used a Commadore C-64 and had the NGC and Messier catalog in the data base and display the cooridinates of were the scope was pointed. It used a two star alignment code. It took a good amount of time to write the code and debug the system.

The Losmandy digital setting circles and computer are a little expensive, but have features that seem to make them worth the extra money.
