Order placed was on August 29th and received from FedEx on September 7th. Overall still a pretty quick turn around and I had to factor in the weekend and labor day, all which FedEx will not deliver on. Not to mention my impatience and excitement of getting one finally.It's poor strategy that reeks of "We are not confident in our product enough to go into mass production", and if you care about the future of the Deck, or a potential Deck V2, you should wish upon a star that they market it to non-steam users, otherwise it's gonna go the same way as the Steam Controller, except the Deck didn't deserve that.

My Fedex Nightmare. TLDR: Fedex says they "delivered" my Steam Deck, nothing showed up, and Steam basically says "Get Bent". FedEx refuses to deliver to my building most days and when it does, things get stolen. I’m kind of worried I won’t ever see my Deck due to FedEx’s incompetence in my area, but the fact that I can’t ship it to a FedEx location for pick up is a real slight on Valve’s part imo.
